Learn Certified Paediatric Life Support & Choking and First Aid with Dr Camilla Eiffe, a Paediatric Doctor based in Amsterdam

Dr Camilla Eiffe is a UK trained Paediatrician who now lives in Amsterdam with her family. She has a specialist interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, and continues to work in the UK National Health Service (NHS). In addition to practicing in the UK, Dr Camilla offers Certified Paediatric Basic Life Support courses in Amsterdam, including the management of Choking and First Aid to parents and caregivers.  All courses are held in the comfort of your home or at venues such as children’s stores and community centres. Dr Camilla’s aim is to teach the necessary skills to increase not only knowledge but the confidence to act, should the unthinkable happen.

    Learn the step by step method of what to do, and how to manage, a child showing no signs of life.

  • Choking

    We discuss and demonstrate in detail the steps on how to approach, and manage, a choking child.

  • Is my child unwell?

    How to recognise that a child is unwell, what to do when a child is unwell, and when to call the doctor or emergency services.

  • Injury

    We look at methods to treat minor injuries, and when to call the doctor or emergency services.

  • Rashes

    Children get lots of rashes. We look at the different types, treatments and when to call the doctor or emergency services.

  • Sepsis & Shock

    How to recognise when a child is in shock or has signs of sepsis, what to do in each scenario, and when to call the doctor or emergency services.

I attended the basic life support course just before my baby started solids as I was nervous about the risks of choking. Camilla was so helpful, explaining things simply and clearly.
